Head Director - Kaylee Minnis

Mrs. Minnis began her dance journey in Tomball, Texas, as a four-year member of the Tomball Memorial High School Silver Stars, serving as Lieutenant for two seasons. After high school, she attended Texas A&M University, where she was an active member of the Dance Arts Society and earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.

Mrs. Minnis began her teaching career as the Assistant Director of the College Park Reveliers. She then served as Head Director of the Willis High School Sweethearts for four years, leading the program to continued growth and success at the state and national levels. In her final year, she led the team to its 12th National Championship title.

Mrs. Minnis is actively involved in TDEA, where she has been a two-time presenter. Additionally, she has contributed to the dance community as a staff member for TrendSetters Dance Company since 2018, working with teams across Texas to develop leadership, teach choreography, and expand students' love of dance.

Mrs. Minnis and her husband, John, are thrilled to join the Village and be closer to home. She is excited to begin this new chapter as the Head Director of the Jersey Village Gold Dusters and continue building a program rooted in excellence, growth, and strong character.

Assistant Director - Kirsten Brimmage

Mrs. Brimmage began her dance journey in Lufkin, TX, as a member of the Lufkin High School Panther Pride. After high school, she attended Stephen F. Austin University, where she was an active member of the Tri Delta Sorority.

While Mrs. Brimmage began her teaching career at the elementary level, she quickly realized that drill team still filled her heart. She then transitioned to the high school level, and began teaching at Jersey Village. Mrs. Brimmage is on the English II staff at JVHS, in addition to her role as Assistant Director for the Gold Dusters and Inaugural Director for the Goldettes.

Mrs. Brimmage and her husband, Jacob, have two beautiful daughters; Blake and Bennett. When she isn't teaching she loves to craft and spend time with her family.
